Kristen is originally from Rochester, NY and earned her first bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. After living in California for many years, she moved to Austin in 2007 with her family. She received her BSN from Concordia University, Texas in 2018 and her Master’s in Nursing at the University of Texas, Austin in 2024. 

Kristen has had the privilege of working as a Registered Nurse at Dell Children’s Medical Center for 5 ½  years. While being part of the in-patient Rehab and Nephrology team, she worked with children with a wide variety of medical conditions at many different points during their health journey. Her greatest joy has been collaborating with families and focusing on every child’s individual wellbeing. After receiving her PNP certification, Kristen chose primary care for the opportunity to build lasting relationships and support children and families as they grow!

Outside of work, Kristen loves spending time with her 3 children and her Frenchie. She also enjoys running, hiking, and traveling!
